What favorite holiday Traditions do kids LOVE? I am wanting to start some new traditions with our kids. Anybody have anything that their kids absolutely just love, and their kids remember it from year to year?

My husband makes Christmas cookies and the kids ice and decorate them. He remembers it from his childhood and loves doing it as much as they do!

We love doing one new ornament per year per child. My parents did this when I was little and I still have all of the ornaments - so 40+ that I take out every year and try and remember little stories from some of the more memorable Christmas's. When we pick ornaments I try and make them relevant to what is going on each year. Sometimes they might have the year on them, or if we have taken a trip that year we find ornaments related to that. We have also made ornaments with kids when money has been tight. As much as I am not sentimental, it is fun looking back to those years in the 60 & 70's.
