My 10 year old is begging to see the new twilight movie? My 10 year old is begging to see the new twilight movie. I have never seen any of them nor have I read the books. Do you think 10 is still to young? Does it have any inappropriate romantic situations or other things I should consider in evaluating whether I let her watch it?

In all honesty, the answer depends on what *you* are comfortable with. What my husband and I have been doing is one of use goes to see the movie first, then we decide from there. You can rent the first two movies these days, so that might give you an idea of what the general story line is and what you think about it. I've read all the books and seen all the movies. As is usually the case, the book is always better. The acting in the first Twilight movie stunk, in my opinion. And they really downplayed the main female character's input into the plot. In the second movie, the acting was better. The third one was OK. One thing to think about is if you let her see this one, she's going to insist on seeing the next two when they come out. Hope that helps.
