You can rent the first two movies these days, so that might give you an idea of what the general story line is and what you think about it.

I've read all the books and seen all the movies. As is usually the case, the book is always better. The acting in the first Twilight movie stunk, in my opinion. And they really downplayed the main female character's input into the plot. In the second movie, the acting was better. The third one was OK.

One thing to think about is if you let her see this one, she's going to insist on seeing the next two when they come out.
