It's an opportunity for parents to buy and sell their gently used (or new) items their kids have either outgrown or never used. Our sales feature baby, kids, and maternity clothes, accessories, shoes, toys, books, games, furniture, equipment, and much more – basically anything related to raising children from babies to teens! PASS IT ON brings buyers and sellers together in one location for 5 days of shopping bliss. Pass on the things you don't need any more to someone who does! Consignors earn 65% of their sales (prices set by the sellers) and shop a day before the public. Those who volunteer can earn up to 80% and shop even earlier! Reduce, reuse, resale! I really hate shopping, and it makes everything SO easy. The clothes are in fantastic shape and organized so well, and there is always such a huge selection! There are so many toys and baby items to pick from - it's so simple to take care of holiday & birthday shopping. I also find it interesting to see what toys and gadgets have been popular. Everything is incredibly reasonably priced. I haven't yet consigned anything myself, so I can't speak for that, but simply as a consumer, it makes my busy life much easier!!! I really wish I had known about this sale before my first child was born. I've been going to each sale - twice a year - ever since I found out about it. Such a fabulous event!!! Was this helpful? Kudos to PIO for having great inspectors (I've seen them in action) and keeping the quality high so shoppers don't waste time finding a lot of cute outfits only to realize they're stained - it's all good here. It's also amazing that even though there is a Presale before it opens to the public, this sale is NOT all picked over and there's still PLENTY of great bargains for those who are not volunteering or selling. Yes | No Flag as: Miscategorized | Inappropriate BluEyz0221 (Guest) says (Mar-18-11) : 0 of 0 find this helpful This is by far one of the areas largest baby, childrens and maternity resale events.I am known to frequent most of the areas seasonal sales and even though there may be one that is slightly larger, the quality of items, the helpfulness and cheeriness of the volunteers at Pass It On Hillsboro, makes it my favorite of all the sales. The best way to ensure you find everything your looking for and the best deals (or steals!) is to get into the presales by consigning your items with them (which is so easy!) or by volunteering to work at their sale. Other sales that I know of allow just about anybody and their neighbor into the presales, which makes competition for prime items slimmer, but Pass It On has maintained the exclusivity of their presales, which is just one more thing I love about them. I am able to stock my kids up on clothes for the entire season, buy all "like NEW" toys for my childcare and kiddos and even find some really GREAT books on parenting!
