If you've got children, this is one of the best places to bring them in the Seattle area! It's particularly wonderful for kids age 10 and under, particularly the little ones.
It's very much set up with little people in mind. Most (if not all) of the displays are hands on and are set up for kids to get right on in there to learn and explore. There are bright colors, different shapes, and so many things to see and do--there is everything from cause and effect type of experiments/displays to play restaurants where kids can prepare fake food and work behind a cash register.
This is seriously one of the best children's museums around and it's worth purchasing a season pass for, as your little ones will never grow tired of this place. Prepare to be spend hours at this museum!
It's located right below an amazing food court, so when it's lunch or snack time, you can head on up and fill hungry tummies with just about anything you can think of.
Birthday parties are also an option at the museum.
Since the museum is located in the middle of Seattle Center, the heart of the city, parking is the only downside, though it is available in paid lots.

Don’t miss your chance to take a journey through Africa with The Ugandan Orphans Choir with their performance at The Children’s Museum, Seattle! The children in The Ugandan Orphans Choir sing and dance in colorful, traditional costumes accompanied by authentic African drums and other African instruments. The songs they sing are in their native language, which is Luganda.
The choir, composed of ten children ages 9-14, are from the Ssese Islands located on Uganda’s Lake Victoria. All ten children are orphans who were rescued through Childcare Worldwide’s sponsorship program and now they help other children through this unique and powerful ministry. The choir’s main objective is to raise awareness of the desperate need to help other children, like themselves, living in developing countries around the world.

What would you do if you were President? We’ll learn a kid sized dose of American history and dream about what we would do if we were President. Would you make the country bird a peacock? Would the national song be sung by Yo Gabba Gabba?
