My kids have such a good time here during the warmer months!
My favorite part of the skating rink is that they have a little practice area for those who are not quite up to snuff and ready to be out on the big floor...
Also, if you go during the week it's practically empty! My husband and I went there on a date way back when... :)

I took my 8 and 6 year old skating and they loved it. During the summer, the rides are fun and they can easily play there all day. I have also been to parties there. While it does get busy on the summer weekends (as it seems like a lot of big companies have their summer picnics there) the kids always have a great time.

The stroller skating and the other low cost young children's activities are great. My kids love toddler time.

My youngest son begs me to take him to Oaks park regularly. He just loves to ride all the rides. The skating rink is a blast from my past, and my kids just love it too. Check out their web site durring the summer they have grea deals on most weekdays.

We came here with the moms club that I belong to. It was pretty good, it wasn't anything I would rave about. The rides for the smaller kids are good, but not enough to keep them busy for more than an hour or so. They have larger rides for the bigger kids and adults, but with you small kids in tow you just stick to the small rides.

You just can't not go here as this place is ancient and reminds me of my childhood in the 70's. My kid were always bugging me about going roller skating, so finally we went. We went on a day when we were out of school and the rest of Portland was probably still in school. For those kids that don't know how to skate they have two areas that are enclosed that give the beginners a chance to get comfortable before going on the larger rink. The music they played was fun and I had to beg just to get my kids to stop and hangup their skates. I also get on some skates and relived my teenage days!
