Covered Bridge is an exceptional child care provider. My daughter has been attending for 3 years both after school and during the summer. She loves to go! It is a fabulous learning environment and the kids have tons of fun!

My son does not need to go to after school care, he chooses to go. After much nagging on his part I put him in 1 day a week. He comes home, happy, tired, and with his homework done.

Covered Bridge Childcare LLC was started by one of our teachers at Pacific Northwest Academy. We had a lot of turn-over in employees with the after school care program and so our 5th grade teacher Jill stepped up. The program now at Covered Bridge is exceptional. I always feel that my child is well cared for and given the 1:1 attention they need. There is time daily for homework help, crafts, technology, and games. They also sing silly songs and really have a lot of fun together. My daughter is always telling me about the fun things she did at Covered Bridge almost daily.
The kids play games that meet their physical needs by running around and using their large muscles. They do science experiments and learn about chemical reactions too. The program is not just helpful to have at the school, but educational too. I feel they address the needs of the whole child.
Sometimes I stay and watch the kids interact and it is always a joy. Jill also runs a summer program where she takes the kids on three field trips a week as well as does activities and crafts with them. They come home exhausted from their day, but telling how much fun was had. Covered Bridge Childcare is open to kids K-6 and open to the public, not just students at Pacific Northwest Academy. You should give Jill a call to check it out and check out the amazing school at the same time. You won’t be disappointed.
